Pterobly Conspicuous

'Pterobly Conspicuous' is a play on the Spectacled Flying Fox’s scientific name Pteropus conspicillutus and refers to the feculent issue of flying foxes camping in urban areas. The much-maligned bats are forced to move on from their camp often to find a more obvious and unsuitable place to camp. The vulnerable Spectacled Flying Fox is a keystone species, playing a vital role in pollination and seed dispersal, ensuring the continued biodiversity of the Wet Tropics rainforest.
