Sculptures and Functional Pieces

My sculptural work focuses primarily on the shapes colours and textures of flora and fauna found in the our World Heritage Wet Tropics rainforest. The amazing diversity of the North Queensland Wet Tropics rainforest informs and inspires my sculptural designs.

The impact of my sculptural work relies on naturalistic representations of our fauna in collective installations to create a visual narrative about our endangered species, habitat loss, but also the significant intrinsic worth of our Wet Tropics rainforest.

My intention is that my work will inspire and encourage a discourse in our society to proactively appreciate and preserve our priceless, irreplaceable landscape and its inhabitants.

Here are just a few examples of my sculptures.
